    Neue jüdische Kammerphilharmonie

    The NJK’s repertoire, forgotten works by Jewish composers or composers of Jewish descent, may be divided into three categories:

     

    ·      Works by murdered composers

    ·      Works composed in the late 19th century or in the Weimar Period, or where published by then, but forbidden under Nazi rule

    ·      Works composed by persecuted composers who fled, written in exile / in their adopted country

     

    Occasionally the NJK also performs works from the earlier 19th century…
